This year begins my 19th year in education. I have taught in school districts in various locations in Texas and of various sizes.

 

I received my bachelor's degree in English from Angelo State University and my master's degree in education and literacy from the University of Texas at Arlington.

 

Before I began teaching, I worked for a large telecommunications company.
